The Cursing Gourmet Tip of the Day:
F side dishes – Go All-Inclusive.
If you’re a Hater or a cooking newbie, cooking is enough of a struggle without trying to get multiple components of a meal to come together at the same time, and all be hot on the plate when served.
Plus, side dishes create more dirty pots & pans. No thanks!
Timing your simmering rice, chicken cooking in a pan, and veggies roasting in the oven can be a little tricky for newbies, and just plain annoying for Haters.
Here are a few types of all-inclusive meals: Stews/soups/chilis, casseroles/bakes, tacos/burritos/quesadillas, hearty salads, etc. are fantastic meals that avoid side dishes.
Meals that sit in 3 different piles on your plate? I probably only make those kinds of meals once a week.
Believe you me, I LOVE roasted veggies. But I LOVE making cooking super-easy even more ?
Tonight we’re having Thanksgiving-Any-Day Casserole. I need my Thanksgiving fix!! (https://thecursinggourmet.com/thanksgiving-any-day-casserole/)
Technically this meal requires a bit of timing, but instant stuffing is pretty easy to get the timing right ?
