Start a Dinner Club

Hate cooking? Or maybe you’re just new at it and don’t know where to begin? Start a “dinner club” with a few friends!

There’s this saying, “Too many hands spoil the stew”, but when you hate cooking and/or are new at it, I say “many hands make light work!”

Sure, you can only fit so many people in a kitchen, but some dinner prep can be done in other rooms. The point is, if you have 3-4 people working on different parts of the meal, your one part is going to be a lot easier to tackle, psychologically, if you’re a cooking hater.

It’s also a great excuse to get together and hang! And drink a little wine, maybe? ?

And in the era of social media, it’s very easy to make plans with your group. Maybe you want to meet once a week, or maybe only once a month. And you can vote on what meal is coming up next, and who will be in charge of what, so there’s no time wasted once you all show up.

It’s also a great way to minimize your money invested… If you all contribute to community spices, for instance, you don’t have to lay out all the money yourself.

So go ahead and get yourself some moral support in the kitchen! It’s a lot more fun to share your hate together than to grumble to yourself night after night! ?
